CfP: Formal Epistemology Workshop 2019 (FEW 2019), Turin, 19-21 June 2019 FORMAL EPISTEMOLOGY WORKSHOP 2019 https://www.few2019.com/ Center for Logic, Language and Cognition (LLC) University of Turin, Italy 19--21 June 2019 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Paul Egre, CNRS & ENS Paris Ulrike Hahn, Birkbeck Stephan Hartmann, LMU Munich The 15th edition of FEW will take place at the University of Turin, situated in the Piedmont, a region in the Northwest of Italy. We invite papers and posters in formal epistemology, broadly construed. This includes related areas of philosophy (e.g., logic, philosophy of science, philosophy of language) as well as cognate disciplines like statistics, psychology, economics, computer science, and mathematics. Papers should be suitable for 30 minutes presentation time, followed by a 10 minutes commentary of and 20 minutes general discussion. These figures may slightly be altered in the final program. Submissions from graduate students and early career researchers are especially welcome. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 20 January 2019. We ask for full papers up to 6,000 words. Poster presentations are also solicited (in that case, an extended abstract suffices). Notifications will be sent out in the second half of March. GRADUATE STUDENT FUNDING: Limited accommodation funding is available for graduate students and early career researchers who present a paper or poster.
