Institute of Philosophy of the The Czech Academy of Sciences announces LOGICA 2019 the 33nd in the series of annual international symposia devoted to logic, to be held at Hejnice, Czech Republic, on 24 - 28 June 2019. The first session begins on the morning of Tuesday, 25 June. The symposium closes at noon Friday, 28 June. Contributions devoted to any of the wide range of logical problems are welcome except those focused on specialized technical applications. Particularly welcome are contributions that cover issues interesting both for philosophically and for mathematically oriented logicians. --INVITED SPEAKERS-- David Makinson Per Martin-Lof Alessandra Palmigiano David Ripley --SUBMISSION AND IMPORTANT DATES-- If you are interested in presenting a paper at the symposium, please submit a two-page abstract via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=logica2019 The guidelines for submissions can be found at http://logika.flu.cas.cz/en/logica/logica-20192-2 The deadline is 15 February 2019. Notifications will be sent out by the end of March. --FEES-- The fee for the symposium is 450 EUR for participants and 320 EUR for accompanying persons. The fee covers full board and lodging at Hejnice Monastery during the conference, the conference coach from Prague to Hejnice and back, and (for participants) a copy of the postproceedings volume. Scholars from countries with underfunded academic institutions are invited to apply for a reduction of the conference fee.
