With the development of argument mining techniques, argumentation studies are increasingly ready to take advantage of technology in similar ways. This event seeks to bring together linguists and argumentation scholars who are interested in the use of corpora, in order that they may share knowledge and experiences and examine the ways in which studies in the two areas may complement each other. Invited Speakers: -- Chris Reed, Centre for Argument Technology, University of Dundee UK -- Bonnie Weber, Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation, University of Edinburgh UK Extended abstract submission deadline: 06 July Early-bird rate by August 10th: 540 PLN (around 125 EUR) TBC ============================================ Queries should be directed to the local organisers of specific WAW events. -- Katarzyna Budzynska Centre for Argument Technology (www.arg.tech) Polish Academy of Sciences & University of Dundee argdiap.pl/budzynska/ -- [LOGIC] mailing list http://www.dvmlg.de/mailingliste.html Archive: http://www.illc.uva.nl/LogicList/ provided by a collaboration of the DVMLG, the Maths Departments in Bonn and Hamburg, and the ILLC at the Universiteit van Amsterdam
