The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences at the 
University of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a Head of School with 
outstanding leadership skills, an academic background in one of our 
cognate disciplines, and the confidence and vision to lead the School of 
PPLS and inspire our large and diverse academic community.

Applications from candidates internal and external to the School are 
welcome.

The successful candidate, if they do not already hold a Chair with the 
School, will be appointed to a Chair located within the most appropriate 
Subject of the School, upon which the Chair will be the successful
