Postdoctoral fellowships in history and philosophy of science & ideas, Tel Aviv (Israel), Deadline: 23 Mar 2018

The Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas, 
Tel Aviv University, offers one or two Post-Doctoral Fellowships for the 
academic year 2018?19. The recipient(s) will spend the academic year at 
the institute pursuing their own research project while interacting with 
faculty and students.

Fellowship award will be based on consideration of scholarly distinction 
and academic promise within the area of history and philosophy of science 
broadly construed. Candidates must hold a PhD degree in a relevant 
academic field, which has been awarded from a recognized university after 
October 2013.

The fellowship awards the sum of c. NIS 86,000, for one year, with the
possibility of extending the fellowship for a second year under similar
conditions.

Prospective candidates should apply by March 23, 2018. They should mail

? Cover letter stating how your work adds to or interacts with the work
done at the

Institute.

? Updated CV and publication list.

? Current research program (3-5 pages)

? Two letters of recommendation (attached to the application or sent
directly)

? Writing sample

? All materials should be in English.

Humanities of Tel Aviv University. It is the largest and most dynamic
center for the History and Philosophy of Science and the Social Studies
