*ABOUT:*
Given the success of the conference "Capturing Phylogenetic Algorithms
for Linguistics " in Leiden in October 2015 a follow up event will be
held in Tübingen on March 27-31, 2017. It will be hosted by the
Institute of Linguistics of Tübingen University. The first two days of
the conference will be directed especially towards PhD students. We
invite submissions of original, unpublished work in any area and at the
intersection of Linguistics, Historical Linguistics, Bioinformatics,
Biology and Mathematics. Submissions will be reviewed by several experts
in the field, and accepted papers will be presented orally or as
posters. We aim to publish accepted papers open-access on the University
of Tuebingen Library Publication System.


*PhD STUDENT SUBMISSIONS:*
We will provide funded accomodation for three nights for up to 12 PhD
students presenting their work at the workshop.


*SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:*
We invite submission of abstracts for 30-minute presentations. The
desired length for abstracts is 3 pages of text (plus any amount of
pages of references or data tables). Submissions must be anonymous,
without any identifying information.
