The Mathematics Department at Boise State University invites applications
for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level starting in
August 2005. The position being filled is in Set Theory; workers in
closely related areas may be considered. Preference will be given to those
whose research area allows them to work closely with our current faculty.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. by the starting date, and strong
evidence of both research potential and teaching ability.
The department currently offers degrees in Mathematics, Applied
Mathematics, and Mathematics Secondary Education as well as an MS in
Education, Mathematics Emphasis. A Master's degree in Mathematics will be
offered for the first time in Fall 2005.
