Mind, Philosophy of Religion, Post-Kantian Philosophy) would also be desirable.
S/he will be under the direction of Professor Peter Millican, Gilbert Ryle
Fellow and Tutor in Philosophy.

Applicants should have a good first degree in a relevant subject and should
normally have a doctorate in Philosophy (or be close to achieving one),
together with some experience in teaching (and associated administration). The

depending on qualifications and experience, and will be pensionable with USS.
The successful candidate will also be entitled to associate membership of the
SCR, to free lunches in college (when teaching and during the vacations) and to
two free dinners per week during weeks 0-9 of term. Further particulars for the
post are available on the Hertford College website:
http://www.hertford.ox.ac.uk/about/vacancies.

Hertford College currently has around 40 undergraduates reading for the
relevant joint degrees, of whom 24 are in Philosophy, Politics and Economics
(PPE) with most of the rest in Computer Science and Philosophy. Hertford also
admits for Mathematics and Philosophy, Physics and Philosophy, and Philosophy
and Modern Languages. Details of the Oxford undergraduate courses may be found
on the website of the Faculty of Philosophy:
http://www.philosophy.ox.ac.uk/undergraduate/course_descriptions.

Applicants should send a CV including qualifications and relevant experience, a
covering letter, a college application form (available at
http://www.hertford.ox.ac.uk/about/vacancies) and the names of two referees to
Mrs Sue Finch, Academic Administrator, Hertford College, Oxford OX1 3BW (email
applications to college.office@hertford.ox.ac.uk) by 5.00pm on Thursday 8
September 2016. Applicants should also arrange for their referees to write to
