Postdoctoral position on "Disagreements", Tartu (Estonia), Deadline: 1 Aug 2016

Postdoc in Philosophy at the University of Tartu

The Estonian Research Council is offering postdoctoral research positions 
through its "Mobilitas Pluss" scheme. The aim is to supplement Estonian 
research and development institutions and businesses with young and 
talented researchers, who have studied or worked in foreign countries and 
have acquired skills and knowledge for conducting research and 
development. Positions will be awarded on a competitive basis and will be 
full time for one to two years.

The yearly grant amount is 31.710 EUR. This includes the salary fund of 
the postdoctoral fellow, research expenses and overhead expenses. In 
addition, postdoctoral researchers who have not lived, studied or worked 
in Estonia during the period of 4 October 2015 ? 1 April 2016 will receive 
a one-time taxable relocation allowance in the sum of 6.500 EUR.

The Department of Philosophy of the University of Tartu welcomes 
expressions of interest from early career researchers (PhD awarded not 
earlier than August 2011) interested in applying through our research 
project "Disagreements: Philosophical Analysis".

The project involves research in the areas of moral and political 
philosophy, applied ethics, metaethics, philosophy of language, philosophy 
of mind, epistemology, philosophy of science and history of philosophy.

Promising candidates for a Mobilitas Pluss grant will receive assistance 
from our department in applying for the grant and in developing a detailed 
research proposal.

The assessment criteria for the scheme include a consideration of the 
research environment of the host department. If your research falls within
