Intensive Research Program on Large Cardinals and Strong Logics

In order to increase the number of young researchers participating in its 
Intensive Research Programs, the CRM announces a call for participants 
interested in participating in the IRP on Large Cardinals and Strong Logics, 
from September to December 2016.

We can offer two different packages* including registration and housing (in 
shared apartments on campus from the day before the beginning of the first 
event to the day after the last one) to participate in either of these 
scientific events:

CRM package 1: Participation in these two events:
     Advanced Course on Large Cardinals and Strong Logics, September 19 to 23, 
2016
     Workshop 1: Set-theoretical aspects of the model theory of strong logics, 
September 26 to 30, 2016


CRM package 2: Participation in these two events:
     Young researcher's Seminar week, November 7 to 11, 2016
     Workshop 2: Applications of strong logics in other areas of mathematics, 
November 14 to 18, 2016

To apply please send a short CV, motivation letter (please, include your 
gender as we need it for the distribution of the apartments) and brief 
recommendation letter to Neus Portet (nportet@crm.cat) before May 31, 2016 
clearly stating in the subject line "CRM grant Strong Logics Package Number 
OF YOUR CHOICE" + YOUR COMPLETE NAME

This event is organized within the Large Cardinals and Strong Logics 
Intensive Research Program


*Applicants may apply for one or two packages.
