Revival of the mailing list
Dear subscribers to the [LOGIC] mailing list:
We expect that you all noticed that the [LOGIC] mailing list stopped
working in June 2015: it had become a victim of its own success. The
number of subscribers to the list had become so big that our software was
not able to handle it anymore.
One of the important features of the list was that it is fully human
moderated, and in our attempts to find a solution for the technical
problem, we needed to find a solution that allowed to continue to do this
human moderation without too much effort.
In cooperation with the Department of Mathematics of the Universitaet
Hamburg and its IT group (special thanks to Gaja Peters!), we now found a
solution that allows us today to revive the [LOGIC] list and resume
sending out announcements of conferences, workshops, and open positions,
as well as general logic-related news.
The [LOGIC] list is now a collaborative effort of the Departments of
Mathematics in Bonn and Hamburg, the Institute for Logic, Language and
Computation of the Universiteit van Amsterdam, and the Deutsche
Vereinigung fuer Mathematische Logik und fuer Grundlagenforschung der
exakten Wissenschaften (DVMLG). We should like to thank all four
institutions for their support.
The website of the logic list is
http://www.dvmlg.de/mailingliste.html
and contains a link to the complete archive of all postings (going back to
the year 2000):

If you wish to unsubscribe from the list, just send an e-mail with the
subject "unsubscribe" in reply to this message.
All the best wishes,
Benedikt Loewe
