The 2015 annual meeting of the Deutschen Mathematiker-Vereinigung (DMV)
will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics of the University of
Hamburg from 21 to 25 September 2015. The organisers collaborated with the
Dansk Matematisk Forening during the composition of the scientific
programme; Danish-German research collaboration in mathematics is one of
the special themes of this meeting.
Keynote speakers: Joergen Ellegaard Andersen (Denmark), Kathrin Bringmann
(Germany), Alessandra Carbone (France), Fernando Coda Marques (Brazil),
Charles M. Elliott (England), Bjoern Sandstede (U.S.A.), Herbert Spohn
(Germany), Simon Thomas (U.S.A.), Karen Vogtmann (England & U.S.A.).
Satellite workshops (20 & 21 September 2015): "Current Trends in
Stochastic Analysis and Related Topics", "Generalized Baire Space",
"History of Mathematics", and "Trends in Proof Theory".
Accepted mini-symposia (so far; mini-symposia can still be proposed until
15 January 2015): Algebraic Aspects of Cryptology, Applied and
Computational Harmonic Analysis, DGVFM-Minisymposium in Financial and
Insurance Mathematics, Dynamics of Patterns, Geometric Variational
Problems, Homotopy Type Theory, Mathematical Methods in Image and Signal
Processing, Mathematical General Relativity, Mathematics of fluid
interfaces, Numerical Methods in Dynamical Systems, Optimal Control of
Nonlinear PDEs, Polytopes, Algebra & Statistics, Qualitative Aspects of
Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations, Symplectic Structures in
Geometric Analysis, and Well-quasi orders: from theory to applications.

Wir nutzen diese Gelegenheit, um nochmals auf den Call for Proposals for
Minisymposia hinzuweisen. Minisymposia koennen noch bis Donnerstag, 15.1.2015
eingereicht werden:

Alle Forscherinnen und Forscher in der Mathematik und angrenzenden Gebieten
(z.B. Theoretische Informatik, Geschichte und Didaktik der Mathematik) sind
herzlich dazu aufgefordert, ihre Forschungsergebnisse in der Form eines
Kurzvortrags in einer der zehn Sektionen vorzutragen. In der Regel werden für
diese Vorträge zwanzig Minuten (incl. Diskussion) zur Verfügung gestellt.
Die Liste der zehn Sektionen und ihrer Sektionsleiter findet sich auf
unserer Webpage unter

Vorträge können bis zum 30. April 2015 in der Form von Kurzzusammenfassungen
eingereicht werden. Entscheidungen über die Annahme oder Ablehnung der
Einreichungen wird bis Ende Mai 2015 gefällt werden.
Das Programmkomittee bittet alle Forscherinnen und Forscher, insbesondere
alle Mitglieder der DMV, Abstracts von Vorträge für die Sektionen einzureichen.

Wählen Sie bitte einen der zehn tracks "Section 1" bis "Section 10" mit der
für Ihren Vortrag relevanten Sektion aus. Tragen Sie alle Autoren mit
relevanten Daten ein und die Kurzzusammenfassung (Abstract).
Ignorieren Sie bitte das Feld "Upload Paper", indem Sie das Kästchen
"Abstract Only" anklicken. Schließlich klicken Sie auf den Knopf "Submit" am
unteren Rande der Seite.

We use this opportunity to mention the Call for Proposals for Mini-Symposia.
Mini-Symposia can still be proposed until Thursday, 15 January 2015:

All researchers in mathematics and related research areas (such as, e.g.,
theoretical computer science, history of mathematics, or mathematics education)
are cordially invited to present their research results in the form of a short
presenation in one of the ten sections. In general, these presentations will be
given twenty minutes including discussion.
The list of the ten sections and their coordinators is available on our
webpage at http://www.math.uni-hamburg.de/DMV2015/sections.html.
Proposals for presentations can be submitted until 30 April 2015 in the form
of abstracts. The decisions about acceptance or rejection of submissions will
be made before the end of May 2015.
The programme committee cordially invites all researchers to propose
minisymposia in their research areas. A proposal has to be submitted via the
Submission page:

Select one of the ten tracks marked "Section 1" to "Section 10" that is most
the most relevant section for your presentation. Give names and relevant data
of all authors and include the abstract of the paper.
Ignore the field "Upload Paper" by clicking the box "Abstract Only", and
finally click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
