The 2015 annual meeting of the Deutschen Mathematiker-Vereinigung (DMV)
will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics of the University of
Hamburg from 21 to 25 September 2015. The organisers collaborated with the
Dansk Matematisk Forening during the composition of the scientific
programme; Danish-German research collaboration in mathematics is one of
the special themes of this meeting.

Charles M. Elliott (England), Peter Keevash (England), Bjoern Sandstede

(England & U.S.A.).
Satellite workshops (20 & 21 September 2015): "Current Trends in
Stochastic Analysis and Related Topics", "Generalized Baire Space",

Das wissenschaftliche Programm der Jahrestagungen der DMV wird regelmaessig von
den Teilnehmenden durch eine Vielzahl von Minisymposien mitgestaltet.
Minisymposien bestehen aus mehreren koordinierten Vortraegen zu einem
ausgewaelhten aktuellen Forschungsthema. Sie werden von ein oder zwei
Forscherinnen und Forschern aus dem relevanten Gebiet organisiert: die
Organisatorinnen und Organisatoren sind fÃ?r die Auswahl der Vortragenden
zust�ndig; diesekoeönnen entweder direkt von den Organisatorinnen und
Organisatoren ausgewaehlt werden oder durch einen Call for Papers zur
Einreichung aufgefordert werden.
Minisymposien finden waehrend der Jahrestagung als integrativer Bestandteil der
Tagung statt, typischerweise an einem oder zwei Tagen. Sie dauern zwischen zwei
und sechs Stunden (4 bis 12 Vortraege). Alle Teilnehmenden eines Minisymposiums
muessen bei der Jahrestagung regulaer registriert sein und die Teilnahmegebuehr
bezahlt haben. Minisymposien erhalten keine finanzielle Unterstuetzung durch
die Jahrestagung.
Vorschlaege fuer Minisymposien koennen zwischen dem 15.10.2014 und dem
15.1.2015 eingereicht werden; das Programmkomitee rechnet damit, eine
Entscheidung ueber die Annahme innerhalb von vier Wochen zu faellen (das
bedeutet, dass frueh eingereichte Vorschlaege von einer fruehen Entscheidung
profitieren).
Das Programmkomittee bittet alle Forscherinnen und Forscher, Minisymposien in
ihren Forschungsgebieten vorzuschlagen. Ein Vorschlag wird Ã?ber das
Einreichungsportal eingereicht:

WÃ?hlen Sie bitte den track "Proposals for Minisymposia" und verwenden Sie die
Felder "Author 1" (und ggf. "Author 2") um die Person oder die Personen
anzugeben, die das Minisymposium organisieren. Verwenden Sie das Feld
"Abstract" fÃ?r die Beschreibung des Minisymposiums mit den folgenden
Informationen:
(*) Beschreibung des Forschungsgebiets und wissenschaftliche Begruendung des
Minisymposiums.
(*) Geplante Dauer des Minisymposiums (zwei, drei, vier, fuenf oder sechs
Stunden).
(*) Liste der geplanten Rednerinnen und Redner (es hilft dem Programmkomitee
bei der Entscheidung, wenn einige oder sogar alle Rednerinnen und Redner
bereits zugesagt haben, aber dies ist keine notwendige Voraussetzung fÃ?r die
Annahme eines Minisymposiums).
Ignorieren Sie bitte das Feld "Upload Paper", indem Sie das Kaestchen "Abstract
Only" anklicken. Schliesslich klicken Sie auf den Knopf "Submit" am unteren
Rande der Seite.
Internationale Minisymposia (z.B. solche mit Organisatorinnen und Organisatoren
aus zwei verschiedenen Laendern) sind besonders gern gesehen. Wegen der engen
Zusammenarbeit mit der Dansk Matematisk Forening freuen wir uns ueber
deutsch-daenische Zusammenarbeit.

The scientific programme of the annual meetings of the DMV is partially formed
by the participants in the form of a large number of minisymposia. A
minisymposium is a coordinated meeting consisting of research presentations on
a particular topic of current research interest. It is organized by one or two
active researchers from the field: the organizers of the symposium are
responsible for providing a list of speakers to the organizers of the
conference. The speakers could be invited by the symposium organizers or
attracted via a call for papers.
Minisymposia are scheduled during the main part of the conference, typically
over one or two days; they can last between 2 and 6 hours (4 to 12 talks); all
speakers and organizers of a minisymposium have to be registered participants
of the conference and have to pay the registration fee. Minisymposia do not
receive any funding from the conference.
Minisymposia can be proposed between 15 October 2014 and 15 January 2015. The
programme committee intends to make a decision about acceptance of proposals
within four weeks of receipt of the proposal (so, submitting early may give the
advantage of having an early decision about acceptance).
The programme committee cordially invites all researchers to propose
minisymposia in their research areas. A proposal has to be submitted via the
submission page:

Select the track "Proposals for Minisymposia" and use the fields "Author 1"
(and "Author 2") for the organizer(s) of the minisymposium. Use the field
"Abstract" to provide the following information:
(*) Description of the research area and motivation for the minisymposium.
(*) Intended duration of the mini-symposium (two, three, four, five or six
hours).
(*) List of potential speakers (it helps if some or all of the speakers have
confirmed that they will participate, but this is not required)
Ignore the field "Upload Paper" by clicking the box "Abstract Only", and
finally click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
International minisymposia (e.g., co-organised by a German and an international
organiser) are particularly encouraged. Due to the cooperation with the Dansk
Matematisk Forening, we would like to see Danish-German collaborations in the
organisation of minisymposia.
