This is the first announcement for the RTG Research Conference Logic, Dynamics, and Their Interactions II June 2-6, 2014 University of North Texas, Denton, TX The conference is sponsored by an RTG grant from the NSF and by the University of North Texas. It brings together researchers in descriptive set theory, ergodic theory, dynamical systems, and other related areas, and encourages research that crosses boundaries of various different fields. Plenary talks will be given by: Matthew Foreman (University of California, Irvine) Alexander Kechris (California Institute of Technology) Dmitry Kleinbock (Brandeis University) Krystyna Kuperberg (Auburn University) Justin Moore (Cornell University) Christian Rosendal (University of Illinois at Chicago) Mark Pollicott (University of Warwick) Slawomir Solecki (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) Simon Thomas (Rutgers University) There will also be other invited and contributed talks. We would like to particularly encourage graduate students and recent PhDs to participate. There will be a limited amount of financial support for distribution on a first-come, first-serve basis.
