Assistant Professor in the History of Philosophy

The University of Waterloo, Department Of Philosophy is accepting 
applications for a tenure track position in the History of P hilosophy at 
the rank of Assistant Professo r . The Department is especially interested 
in candidates whose research is in the history and philosophy of science, 
broadly construed ( incl ud ing technology and mathematics). The 
Department also has undergraduate teaching needs in ancient philosophy. 
The successful candidate will have a completed PhD in Philosophy by the 
time of appointment, some teaching experience, and evidence of an actively 
developing research program . The position will commence on July 1, 2014. 
Duties include research, undergrad uate and graduate te aching and 
graduate supervision, and service. Closing date for applications is Nov.
