?Mathematical Depth Workshop? The Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine, is pleased to announce a workshop on mathematical depth. In this workshop, we will be examining and discussing examples of mathematics typically judged to be deep (or not deep) in hope of clarifying what's at issue in these judgments.
