The conference *Logic across the University: Foundations and Applications** *will be held on *14-16 October, 2013 *at Tsinghua University. ( http://tsinghualogic.net/) Background Logic has a long tradition at Tsinghua where the modern logic has been taught since the 1930s by pioneers like Jin Yuelin. In recent years, several initiatives have been taken to make it flourish once more. With the support of the newly established School of Humanities at Tsinghua University, we are organizing this conference 14-16 October 2013 and invite an international and Chinese group of speakers to present their research works, to show the broad interdisciplinary range of logic today, while also strengthening research contacts between Chinese and international colleagues.
