Papers on these topics are dispersed across many conferences, which makes them difficult to follow. The conference has no published proceedings. Participants are encouraged to talk about their best work, be it already published or not. The conference is short (two and a half days plus a tutorial day) and inexpensive (the conference fee will be at most 100€, free for students). We encourage you to attend and present your best work at the Highlights conference! SCOPE: Representative areas include, but are not restricted to: - logic and finite model theory - automata theory - games for logic and verification PROGRAMME - 18 September: tutorial day - 19-21 September: contributed talks and keynote speakers INVITED SPEAKERS: - tutorials > Martin Grohe > Jérôme Leroux - keynote speakers > Patrice Godefroid > Erich Grädel > Marco Scarsini > Moshe Vardi SUBMISSIONS: Submissions are via the the highlights 2013 EasyChair site: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=highlights2013 Please send an abstract of 1-2 pages, or upload a research paper. There are no formal proceedings and we encourage submission of work presented elswehere. The submission deadline is 20 June 2013. Notifications will be sent by 29 June 2013.
