The Department of Philosophy at Union College invites applications for a
one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor. It is anticipated that
in the following year a tenure track position will become available, for
which the visiting incumbent would be invited to apply. Appointment for
the one-year visiting position begins September 2004. Salary is
competitive. Two undergraduate courses per term (i.e. 6 courses per
academic year in a trimester system).

AOS: Symbolic Logic, Philosophy of Science, Metaphysics, or Epistemology. 
AOC: Open. 

The successful applicant must be prepared to teach the Department's
beginning and intermediate logic courses. Submit a letter of application,
CV, transcripts, three letters of recommendation, evidence of superior
teaching, and a brief writing sample to:
