The Swiss Graduate Society of Logic and Philosophy of Science (SGSLPS) organises a one-day conference on ALGEBRA AND LOGIC on May 2 in Bern (Switzerland). Modern logic emerged in the mid-19th century century with the work of Boole and De Morgan. Since then, Algebra has played a very important role in the study of Logic. This one-day conference aims to provide a wide audience with an overview of contemporary algebraic methods in Logic.
