I'd like to draw your attention to an epistemology workshop that will be happening this summer in Cambridge (June 28-29). The workshop theme is "The Roles of Knowledge" and the schedule is below. For more details and to register, please visit our webpage: http://www.phil.cam.ac.uk/news_events/roles_of_knowledge/roles_of_knowledge.html THE ROLES OF KNOWLEDGE 28 - 29 June 2013 The word ?know? seems to find a comfortable and colloquial equivalent in every human language, which suggests that the concept expressed by this word plays important roles in human life and thought. In recent years, a number of philosophers have investigated the various roles or purposes of knowledge attributions in epistemic evaluation. This workshop seeks to advance the debate by bringing together scholars working in epistemology and related areas. We are interested in exploring any topics that are concerned with the roles of knowledge (or the word ?knowledge?) in human life.
