Big vs. small - Call for commentators - Deadline march 15 The conference "Big vs. Small - Fundamentality in Things, Thought, and Language" will take place at the University of Hamburg, July 19 and July 20 2013. The topic of the conference are various fundamentality debates in metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of language. Confirmed speakers include: Karen Bennett (Cornell) Micheal Devitt (CUNY) Cian Dorr (Oxford) Kit Fine (NYU) Zoltan Gendler Szabo (Yale) Jonathan Schaffer (Rutgers) There are 6 places for short commentaries available. In addition to conference-fee waivers, commentators will be provided with free accommodation. Should funding allow, commentators may also receive a moderate travel grant. To apply as a commentator, please send your CV and a brief statement of interest to big.vs.small2013@gmail.com by March 15. Please state in which section (metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of language) you would like to give a commentary.
