Two PhD positions in natural language processing
Two PhD positions are available in the Department of Informatics at
Hamburg University for a period of 3 years. Expected starting date is
October 1st, 2012, or later.
The positions are part of a DFG funded Joint International Research
Training Group together with Tsinghua University in Bejing, China.
Research aims at devising computational solutions for speech and language
processing which are required to facilitate a natural, language-mediated
interaction within multi-modal environments. Further information can be

A degree in Informatics/Computer Science or another relevant discipline
(e.g. Computational Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, or Cognitive Science)
with a strong background in computational issues is required. Female
