MATHEMATICIANS AND THEIR GODS ? Oxford faculty of Continuing Education - 1 Wellington Square ? 15-16 September 2012 The historical intersection between mathematicians and theism is rich in culture and character. This weekend event will be made up of talks surveying a diverse and fascinating range of topics including the sect of the Pythagoreans, Newton?s views on the apocalypse, Charles Dodgson?s Anglican faith and Gödel?s proof of the existence of God.
