ISLA 2012: Call for participation The Association for Logic in India (ALI) announces a two-week winter school on logic and applications, ISLA 2012, at Manipal University during January 9-20, 2012. Graduate students with a background in logic and an interest in research are welcome to apply. Active researchers and teachers of the subject may apply as well. Please see the school webpage http://ali.cmi.ac.in/isla2012/ for details regarding courses and workshops. Online registration to ISLA 2012 is now open. The deadline for receiving applications is December 15, 2011. Selected participants will be notified by December 16. Upon being selected, you have to ensure that you obtain the necessary leave from your organization to attend the school. There are no registration fees for the school for academic participants. Breakfast and lunch will be covered by the school. Shared accommodation at Manipal University will be provided on request. Participants will have to pay around Rs 1200 (one person in twin-sharing room) or Rs 3000 (one person in shared apartment) for accommodation for the two weeks. For Indian participants, 2nd class sleeper fare by the shortest route may be provided on request. Prof. Kamal Lodaya (IMSc) is in charge of registrations.
