Two PhD student positions (including formal epistemology or logic), Groningen (The Netherlands)
Dear colleague,
The University of Groningen offers two fully paid PhD positions in
philosophy; see below. The PhD projects can be on any topic as long as
they match the expertise of faculty members. Selection is based entirely
on academic ability.
I would be very grateful if you could forward this email to students with
an interest in formal epistemology and/or logic. My colleague Barteld Kooi
and I are offering to support the preparation of research proposals within
our areas of expertise. Please ask your student to contact us by email,
attaching a CV.
Of course, if you have students who have different interests (e.g.
philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, epistemology) but who would
want to apply, they are most welcome to do so.
Finally, please note that the deadline for applications is November 16.
With best regards,
Jan-Willem Romeijn
