On Nov. 7-8 we shall organize in Seville, Spain, the 4th Workshop on Philosophy of Mathematical Practices, this time focused on open problems in contemporary set theory. The topic is Maximalist and Minimalist Perspectives on Infinity. The list of speakers includes several noted specialists in set theory and the philosophy of set theory, namely: Tatiana Arrigoni (Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento); Joan Bagaría (Universitat de Barcelona); Laura Crosilla (University of Leeds); Sy D. Friedman (Kurt Gödel Centre for Mathematical Logic, Vienna); Ignasi Jané (Universitat de Barcelona). The workshop is organized by research project "Filosofía de las prácticas matemáticas: agencia humana, conocimiento y contextos" (FFI2009-10024) with the collaboration of IMUS (Instituto de Matemáticas de la Univ. de Sevilla) and the Spanish Sociedad de Lógica (SLMFCE).
