Taussky-Todd Instructorships at CalTech

OLGA TAUSSKY-JOHN TODD INSTRUCTORSHIPS IN MATHEMATICS 2004/2005

The Olga Taussky and John Todd Instructorships in Mathematics are offered
to persons within three years of having received the Ph.D. who show strong
research promise in one of the areas in which Caltech's mathematics
faculty is currently active, among them Set Theory/Logic.

The initial appointments are for three years. The annual salary for
2004/2005 is $52,200 plus a research fund of $2,000 per year.

There are three terms in the Caltech academic year. Instructors are
expected to teach one course in all but two terms of the total
appointment. These two terms will be devoted to research. In addition, the
summer may be used for a one-month vacation, research, and other scholarly
activities.
