Visiting Assistant Professorships in Logic/Set Theory at the University of North Texas

VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS
in LOGIC/SET THEORY/DESCRIPTIVE SET THEORY

The Mathematics Department expects to have one or two Visiting Assistant
Professor positions to fill for 2003-2004, pending administrative
approval.  The teaching load is two courses per semester.  In addition to
teaching, the Visiting Assistant Professors are expected to conduct
research.  Strong preference will be given to applicants whose research
area is logic, set theory, or descriptive set theory.  The department
offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics including the
Ph.D. degree.  The search committee will begin reviewing applications
immediately and continue to consider applications until the positions are
