EMEA11 is a scholarship programme for students on undergraduate, master,
doctoral and post-doctoral level as well as for university staff in
academic or administrative positions, financed by the European Commission
and coordinated by Lund University in Sweden. The Erasmus Mundus
scholarship is open to nationals in Bangladesh, China, India, Nepal and
Pakistan who want to study or work at one of the European partner
universities, such as the University of Amsterdam (UvA). At the UvA, the
programme is coordinated by Jasper Faber (scientific coordination: Prof.
Dr. Benedikt Loewe): erasmusmundus-sts@uva.nl.
The programme includes the possibility to visit the Institute for Logic,
Language and Computation (ILLC) in Amsterdam. As part of EMEA11, we are
offering:
1. visiting scholarships for undergraduate, Master's, PhD students,
and postdocs (one semester or an academic year)
2. full scholarships for Master's students (covering a full two
year programme leading to the MSc in Logic)
3. full scholarships for PhD students (34 months)
4. short visits for senior staff (1 month)

require proper admission for the Graduate Programme in Logic in a regular
application procedure.

The students and researchers from the following Asian partner universities
of the Action are particularly targeted, but applicants from all
institutions in the five participating countries are welcome.
Chinese Partners: Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan
University, Zhejiang University, and Xiamen University.
Indian Partners: University of Delhi, Jadavpur University, Indian
Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, and Tata Institute of Social
Sciences (TISS).
Nepali Partner: Tribhuvan University.
Pakistani Partner: University of Karachi.
Partner from Bangladesh: Jahangirnagar University.
