KogWis2010 - The 10th Biannual Meeting of the German Society for Cognitive Science October 3-6, 2010 University of Potsdam Call for Papers This conference addresses all areas of interdisciplinary research in the Mind and Brain Sciences, including Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer-Interaction, Linguistics, and Philosophy of Mind. Contributions from these areas can be submitted for Poster presentations, Talks, or Symposia, or for Talks at the Doctoral Symposium, which is a special opportunity for Ph.D students to present and discuss their ongoing work. Proposals for one- or two-hour symposia should include a summary of the topic as well as a list of speakers with presentation titles, and moderator. Symposia that bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines to discuss a common issue are particularly welcome. Abstracts for Posters, Talks, and contributions to the Doctoral Symposium should not exceed 2000 characters (including spaces); abstracts for Symposia should not exceed 6000 characters (including spaces). Abstracts should be submitted via the conference management system ConfTool on the conference webpage: http://www.kogwis2010.de Accepted abstracts will appear in the conference brochure. Authors will be asked to use the standardised format for this, which can be downloaded from http://www.kogwis2010.de The deadline for submission of abstracts for talks, posters, and symposia is April 30, 2010.
