Tenure track position, beginning September 2003. We are looking for
someone broadly trained in the Anglo-American analytic tradition who can
teach upper division courses in Metaphysics, Epistemology and Symbolic
Logic. The candidate will also regularly cover lower division courses in
Introduction and Critical Thinking. Evidence of teaching excellence
essential. Seven courses per year, across three quarters, with usual
advising and committee responsibilities. Salary based on CSU scale. Ph.D.
at time of appointment strongly preferred, but we will also consider ABDs.
