Petition for the British Prime Minister to apologize to Alan Turing

There is a petition relating to the treatment of Alan Turing to be found on the 
official site of the British Prime Minister at:

http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/turing

The petition has already, in just a couple of weeks, been signed by over 29,000 
people. It reads:

"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to apologize for the 
prosecution of Alan Turing that led to his untimely death."

Unfortunately one needs to be resident in the UK to validly sign.
