Full Professor (tenured) in Algorithms and Data Structures
The successful candidate is expected to lead his/her own group and to
conduct research and teaching in the area of Algorithms and Data
Structures. Ideally, candidates are sought, who are able to combine
theoretical research with novel applications.
Applicants are expected to have an outstanding research record, experience
in project acquisition and management, and experience in university
teaching. Duties include teaching mandatory and elective courses of the
informatics curricula (in English or German). The professor is expected to
contribute to the management of the institute and the faculty. Applicants
must meet the following requirements: a doctoral degree, an outstanding
track record in research and teaching, didactic skills and leadership
abilities.
