11-12 July 2009
Melbourne, Australia
Dear logicians, Though I've sent earlier e-mails regarding the dates and some details for the next AAL conference, I haven't put round an official `Call for Papers'. Time is getting closer. So, I hereby call for papers for the Australasian Association for Logic, to be held over the weekend of July, 11-12, 2009, at the University of Melbourne. This will follow the Australasian Association of Philosophy Conference, to be held from Monday 6th July til Friday 10th July, also at the University of Melbourne. Papers on any aspect of logic are welcome. There will be no conference registration fee, but donations for morning and afternoon teas will be accepted. Abstracts should be sent to the conference organizer, Ross Brady of the Philosophy Program, La Trobe University, Vic. 3086 or by e-mail to Ross.Brady@latrobe.edu.au, by Friday, 12th June, 2009. For accommodation, one could try Ormond College on the grounds of The University of Melbourne, as many of the AAP conference-goers will have vacated by Friday night. Rydges in Carlton is also quite close-by, but hotel rates apply. One could also try Elizabeth Tower Hotel, which also near-by. If there is any further information wanted, please get back to me. Hope to see you in July. Cheers, Ross.
