THE 2010 ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE AND SIMULATION OF BEHAVIOUR (AISB 10)
CALL FOR SYMPOSIUM PROPOSALS
6th -- 9th April 2010, De Montfort University, Leicester
The society is pleased to call for symposium proposals for the 2010 annual
convention on wide range of contemporary AI topics. There is no specific
theme for the convention and multidisciplinary proposals would be most
welcomed. As examples of possible symposium topics, but not limited to:
Emotions Modeling
AI and Games
Philosophical discourses on science, computing and AI
Social modeling and complex systems
Social and cognitive robots
Human-interaction, psychology, and aesthetics
Adaptive systems and theories of learning
Swarm intelligence in engineering and art
All submissions by email to the convention chair: aayesh@dmu.ac.uk
Deadline for submitting proposals: 1 JULY 2009
Notifications: 20 JULY 2009.

The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of
Behaviour (SSAISB) is the largest Artificial Intelligence Society in the
United Kingdom and one of the oldest in the world. Founded in 1964, the
society has an international membership drawn from both academia and
industry. It is a member of the European Coordinating Committee for
Artificial Intelligence.

Leicester is an East Midland city just over an hour by train from London.
It is a Roman town but has rich history from Elizabeth I era with most
notable person is Simon De Montfort, Earl of Leicester in that period of
history. Modern Leicester, however, embraces art and science through two
Universities, Space centre, a new theater (The Curve) and more. For those
who likes shopping, High Cross shopping centre will be the place to visit.
Leicester is served by trains, airports (London, Luton, Birmingham, East
Midlands), and M1 for car drivers.
