The conference will be able to offer up to 70 rooms on campus or nearby at preferential rates, see below. The deadline for making firm bookings of University Campus accommodation is 31st January. Bookings after this deadline cannot be guaranteed although the conference organisers will probably be able to accommodate any requests after this date up to 30th April. After this delegates may have to find their own accommodation. LUNCH & DINNER will be available for purchase at various locations on campus, or in the City of York (about 30 minutes walk or 15 minutes by frequent bus). TRAVEL The local airports regularly used by visitors are Manchester, Leeds/Bradford and various airports in London. Information on getting to York from the local airports and from York to the University is available here (http://maths.york.ac.uk/www/VisitorInfo). The Heslington campus takes 10 minutes to walk from one side to the other. A map of the campus is available here (http://www.york.ac.uk/np/maps/hes.htm). EXCURSION Wednesday afternoon will be the traditional half-day break. There is much to do and see in the city of York. For those wishing to go further afield there is the possibility of either a trip to the East Yorkshire Coast with a walk around Flamborough Head (about 40 miles distant) and fish and chip supper in Bridlington, or a visit to the stately home Castle Howard (http://www.castlehoward.co.uk about 15 miles distant, location of the movie Brideshead Revisited). It would be helpful to have expressions of interest concerning these excursions, so that we can make provisional arrangements. Costs will be available nearer the time, and we will ask participants to make firm decisions on arrival in York on 2nd August. REGISTRATION FEE is 80 GBP (50 GBP for students with certification) payable by 31 March 2009. After this date the registration fee will increase.
