You will be based in the Department of Computer Science which has a lively
research culture with current strengths in Digital Media, Cryptography and
Security, Machine Learning and Biological Computation, Architecture and
Design, and Quantum Computing. We have many links with the computer,
communications, microelectronics and media industries in the Bristol
region, providing opportunities for collaborative research and teaching,
secondments and new ventures.
You will:
- lead the research activities in next generation computing architectures
and algorithms
- contribute to research and teaching in an area related to Computer
Architecture, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, Distributed Algorithms or
Computation
- contribute to our MSc in Advanced Microelectronic Systems Engineering
- extend our links with the local, and international, microelectronics
industry.
You should have (or be about to receive) a Ph.D. in a relevant field, and
evidence of high-quality research and teaching achievement/potential.

Grade : Level b - Level c in Pathway 1
Salary : 33,432 - 43,622
