========================================================================= Mal'tsev Meeting 2009 The international conference on algebra, mathematical logic, and applications will be held in Novosibirsk (Russia) on August 24-28, 2009. This conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Anatolii Ivanovich Mal'tsev (1909-1967). The organisers of the conference are Sobolev Institute of Mathematics and Novosibirsk State University. The topics of the conference include group theory, ring theory, universal algebra, mathematical logic, computability theory, theoretical computer science, and related areas of mathematics. The programme of the conference will consist of 30-minute and 50-minute invited lectures and 15-minute contributed talks at the following sections: group theory, ring theory, universal algebra, model theory, computability theory, non-classical logics and proof theory, philosophy of mathematics, theoretical computer science, computable models, topological spaces, and analysis. Abstracts of talks will be published (we will inform you later how to prepare and submit your abstract). The events of the conference will take place in Sobolev Institute of Mathematics. Accommodation for participants will be available at the hotel of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
