About the Conference:
The academic conference on Logic and Cognition is an annual meeting since
the year 2001. It is a continuous effort to share insights on the
interaction between different logics and cognition. The 7th international
conference on Logic and Cognition sponsored by the Institute of Logic and
Cognition (ILC) and the Institute of Logic, Language and Computation
(ILLC) aims to bring together researchers from philosophy, psychology, and
linguistics to discuss the issues of common interest, and to serve as a

Call for papers:
We invite abstract/short papers on a broad range on topics relating to the
overall theme of the conference -- logic and cognition. A non-exhaustive
list of topics of interest includes:
(*) Cognition from a psychological perspective
(*) Cognition and language
(*) Cognition and music
(*) Argumentation and communication
Paper submission:
Please send an extended abstract not exceeding 10 pages to
logic@mail.sysu.edu.cn no later than October 10, 2008. Abstracts must be
submitted as PDF or MS Word files. Authors will be notified about
acceptance before October 25, 2008. The final version of the accepted
abstract is expected by November 5, 2008.
Publications: A selection of the accepted abstract/short papers will be
published in a special issue of the Journal of Studies in Logic (China)
