Assistant Professorship in Logic (Philosophy) at Columbia University

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, New York, NY. Beginning Assistant Professor,
beginning July 1, 2003. Teaching undergraduate and graduate, for a total
of 4 courses per year (2 per semester); Ph.D. supervision and the usual
non-teaching duties. Salary competitive. AOS: Logic and/or decision theory
and/or probability theory. We are particularly interested in candidates
who also have broad interests in epistemology, value theory or philosophy
of language. AOC: any candidate should be able to teach logic through the
advanced undergraduate level. Ph.D. due by the beginning of the Spring
Semester of 2003. The Columbia and Barnard Philosophy Departments function
