The third International Workshop on Algorithms and Computation (WALCOM 2009
)
will take place in Kolkata, India, during February 18-20, 2009. The worksho
p is
intended to provide a forum for researchers working in algorithms and theor
y of
computation. Papers presenting original research in the areas of design and
analysis of algorithms, computational geometry,
graph drawing and graph algorithms are sought. The topics include but are n
ot
limited to:
=09algorithms and data structures
=09approximation algorithms
=09combinatorial algorithms
=09computational biology
=09computational geometry
=09experimental algorithm methodologies
=09graph drawing and graph algorithms
=09parallel and distributed algorithms
=09quantum computing
=09randomized algorithms
The proceedings of the conference will be published by Springer-Verlag
in its Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
=09=09=09=09Submissions
=09=09=09=09------------
Papers reporting original research unpublished elsewhere, as well as survey
s of
important results are welcome. Authors should submit an extended abstract (
not
a full paper), not exceeding 12 single-spaced pages on A4 (or US letter) pa
per,
including references, figures, title, authors, affiliations, e-mail address
es,
and a short (one paragraph) abstract. Use reasonable margins and at least
10-point font. Please use the LaTeX style
