19th Workshop on Combinatorial Algorithms (IWOCA 2008), Nagoya (Japan), 13-15 Sep 2008

Call for Papers

19th International Workshop on Combinatorial Algorithms (IWOCA 2008)

13-15 September 2008, Nagoya, Japan
*********************************************
After 18 years as a successful regional conference, in 2007 AWOCA (Australa
sian Workshop on Combinatorial Algorithms) has gone international as IWOCA.

AWOCA was held at many venues in Australia (in 2006 at Ayers Rock, a world
heritage site), once in Korea, three times in Indonesia. At the Ayers Rock
conference, in view of the increased recognition of AWOCA, the participants
decided unanimously to upgrade, to focus more on high-quality presentation
s, but also on problems sessions, and to have the Proceedings published by
a well-known academic publisher.

To provide more flexibility in venue for the upgraded conference, and to ma
ke its results more widely accessible, it has also been renamed. In 2007, t
he first IWOCA was held in Newcastle. IWOCA 2008 will be held in Nagoya, th
e center of gravity in Japan. This is the first time that this conference w
ill be held in Japan.

IWOCA topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

Algorithms and Data Structures, Complexity Theory, Graph Theory & Combinato
rics, Combinatorial Optimization, Cryptography & Information Security, Algo
rithms on Strings & Graphs, Graph Drawing & Labeling, Computational Algebra
& Geometry, Computational Biology, Communications Networks, Probabilistic
