Please send summaries of the papers and for documents relevant to the papers (e.g. hand outs, texts, translations etc., even complete papers) before April 1st. Monday, June 2nd, arrival of participants. Tuesday, June 3rd - Thursday 5th: Building: Lipsius, Witte Singel / Doelen, opposite the University Library, room 147. Friday 6th: lectures unto 15.15. After that: Futura contingentia (next symposium, acts). Boat trip in Leiden channels. 18:00 dinner in Hooglandse Kerk, Leiden. Saturday 7th: if needed, lectures. All participants should make their own travel arrangements to Leiden. Please let me know as soon as possible, when you will arrive, and where. The following hotels are in the center of Leiden: Golden Tulip, Tulip Inn, De Doelen, Nieuw Minerva, Da Vinci, Mayflower, Marienpoel Leiden can be reached a) by plane: Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol), then by train (about 20 minutes to Leiden, a very easy connection) or Rotterdam Airport (public transport to Central Station, regular connection with Leiden, about 30 minutes. b) by train, from directions Amsterdam, Den Haag ('s Gravenhage, four times an hour) and Utrecht (two times an hour), frequent connections. The train from Paris to Amsterdam usually does not stop in Leiden. You are advised to change into a national or local train in station Den Haag Hollandse Spoor. c) by car, from various directions. Parking in the city is difficult, if the hotel does not have special facilities. Parking in the University building costs E 2, 90 a day (I need to know at least a week in advance who wishes to make use of this facility).
