JUNIOR LECTURER/LECTRURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR (ONE
POST) (FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT)
Duties:
* Research in Artificial Intelligence, specifically in any of the
following fields: Computational Swarm Intelligence, Evolutionary
Computation, Artificial Neural Networks, Artificial Immune Systems
and Swarm Robotics
* Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Computer Science
* Departmental administrative tasks
* Provide support to the Chair of Artificial Intelligence.
Minimum requirements:
Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer: *A Doctorate in Computer
Science *Publications in accredited journals and conferences *Active
engagement as a researcher in Artificial Intelligence, with a proven
research record *Extensive lecturing experience in Computer Science
Lecturer: *A Master's degree in Computer Science *Also supported by
conference publications *Active as a researcher in Artificial Intelligence
*Lecturing experience in Computer Science
Junior Lecturer: *B.Sc-Hons degree in Computer Science and currently busy
with a Masters degree in Computer Science *Teaching experience will be an
advantage.
Recommended requirements: Proficiency in conducting courses at Honours and
undergraduate levels in Computer Science subjects.
