Assistant / Associate Professor Positions, Theoretical Computer Science, Odense (Denmark), Deadline: 2 July 2007

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University
of Southern Denmark, Odense, invites applications for positions as
Assistant and Associate Professors of Computer Science. An Assistant
Professorship is a three-year appointment, which is generally followed
by a tenured position as Associate Professor. The appointments are
expected to take effect January 1, 2008.

The successful applicants are expected to have well documented records
of research in either computational molecular biology, operating systems,
distributed systems, database systems, design and implementation of
programming languages, machine architecture, or algorithmics, though other
areas may also be considered. In addition to research, the applicant is
expected to contribute to teaching and supervision in Computer Science at
all levels (undergraduate through PhD) and to be able to teach in a broad
range of core Computer Science areas at the undergraduate level.
