The conference is intended for computer scientists whose research activities involve logic, as well as for logicians working on issues significant for computer science. CSL'07, the 16th annual EACSL conference will be organized in Lausanne by the Western Swiss Center for Logic, History and Philosophy of Sciences, and the University of Lausanne. The Ackermann Award for 2007 is sponsored by Logitech and will be presented to the recipients at CSL'07. A joint session with GAMES 07, the annual meeting of the European Network will take place on 11 September, 2007. =09=09http://www.unil.ch/csl07/ Topics of interest include: =09- automated deduction and interactive theorem proving, =09- constructive mathematics and type theory, =09- equational logic and term rewriting, =09- automata and games, =09- modal and temporal logics, =09- model checking, =09- logical aspects of computational complexity, =09- finite model theory, =09- computational proof theory, =09- logic programming and constraints, =09- lambda calculus and combinatory logic, =09- categorical logic and topological semantics, =09- domain theory, =09- database theory, =09- specification, extraction and transformation of programs, =09- logical foundations of programming paradigms, =09- verification and program analysis, =09- linear logic, =09- higher-order logic, =09- nonmonotonic reasoning, =09- logics and type systems for biology.
