During the last decades, mathematical logic has developed into a 
technically quite sophisticated area of mathematics. Nevertheless, 
inspirations from philosophy and computer science are ubiquitous. The main
 
fields of mathematical logic are computability theory, model theory, proof
 
theory, and set theory. In this series it will be published proceedings 
volumes as well as monographs written by leading researchers in 
mathematical logic.

(*) Authors who wish to publish in the series ontos mathematical logic 
should send the manuscript as a pdf file to the publisher or to the 
editors. All contributions to the series will be peer reviewed. If a 
manuscript is accepted for publication, the author (or editor) should send
 
a pdf-file according to the publisher's style sheet.

(*) The books of this new series will be published in hardcover (except of
 
student handbooks) and will be available for at least ten years. The books
 
of this series will be distributed in Middle Europe by ontos verlag, in 
U.K. and some North and South European countries by Gazelle Books, 
Lancaster (U.K.) and in North and South America by Transaction Publishers,
 
New Brunswick (Rutgers University) NJ (U.S.A.).

(*) The book price depends on the number of pages. A book with 250 pages 
will cost approximately EUR 72,00 (US$ 72,00). Student handbooks etc. will
 
be published in paperback at a price lower than EUR 30,00.

(*) The originator will receive 10 free copies of his book and 25-30% 
discount on all books published by ontos verlag.

(*) All books of this series will be also available as eBooks at a 
price between EUR 20,00 and EUR 29,50.

(*) The author or the editor of a volume receives a royalty for his 
publication between 5% and 10% of the net income.
