Call for "Expressions of Interest": LogICCC, EuroCoRes programme
Dear colleagues,
With this message, I'd like to invite your Expressions of Interest in an
emerging European Science Foundation (ESF) Collaborative Research
Programme "LogICCC - Modelling intelligent interaction. Logic in the
humanities, social and computational sciences", which is currently under
development. At
http://www.esf.org/esf_domain_applications.php?language=0&activity=5and

you may find the draft Call for proposals, which --if sufficient
scientific interest and funding is secured-- will be published in the
first week of March 2007.
ESF EUROCORES Programmes create funding for collaborative research by
transnational and transdisciplinary research teams. Funding to be secured
from member organizations --usually between EUR 5 and 10 million-- is
networked through the European Science Foundation (ESF). Currently, ESF
member organizations are deliberating to what extent to give financial
support for LogICCC.
If your national funding agency participates in the programme, you will be
able to apply for funding (for a list of ESF member organizations, see:

** What can you do? **
If you are interested in participating in a future EUROCORES Programme
LogICCC, please send me your general Expression of Interest, simply by
replying to logic@esf.org no later than Sunday 28 January. Please include
your full name, title, institutional affiliation, and contact details.
Please indicate whether you wish to see your name (and institution) appear
on a list of Expressions of Interest which will be collected and
presented, by order of country, to the ESF Member Organizations in early
February. It is hoped that such a list will give funders a clearer
indication of the research community's interest in LogICCC in their
country.
I am very much looking forward to your reply.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
