Postdoctoral position in Theoretical Computer Science, Edmonton, Alberta (Canada)

The Theory Group at the Department of Computing Science 
(www.cs.ualberta.ca) at University of Alberta invites applications for a 
postdoctoral fellowship. This will be a one-year appointment, with a 
possibility for extension, dependent upon funding. Successful applicant is 
expected to work closely with faculty members in the Theory Group in areas 
of: algorithms, approximation algorithms, algorithmic graph theory, 
probabilistic and randomized methods, or hardness of approximation. Funds 
are secured for a salary of at least $40,000(CAD) per annum plus benefits, 
as well as support to travel to conferences. Initial one-year appointment 
will be offered with possible renewal for one additional year.

Individuals can only be appointed to a PDF if it has been within five 
years since they received their PhD.  Applicants should submit a letter of
